It records Internet audio and helps you transfer any sound source to your hard drive. Simply set the sound source, recording quality and volume, and then start recording.

The editor automatically splits your recording into multiple tracks, and you can trim the start and end of each track, or apply fade-in and fade-out functions. Save your recordings in WAV or MP3 format; then use your standard CD burner software to burn a CD.

The software includes a Click and Crackle filter for cleaning vinyl records, a Noise filter for cassette tape recordings and an Equalizer to enhance the sound quality for all recordings. Version 8 records all audio from the Internet and can save this to MP3 or CD. Also available in 64-bit version.

Key Features:

  • Very easy to use
  • Unlimited fully functional 14-day trial
  • Responsive customer service
  • Save your recordings to CD or MP3
  • New click and noise filter

The sound editor interface is abysmal. I wanted to delete some silence in front of the recording, but after about 10 minutes of trying without success I gave up. I was unable to get it to store anything it recorded, so I can't evaluate recording quality. Doesn't uninstall cleanly.
